Welcome back to Kim Kardashian’s world. On the most recent episode of the E! reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Kardashian and her mom Kris Jenner hosted a “Beauty Summit,” and Kim then starred in a “look-book” photo shoot.
Of course, the always-shifting Kardashian media landscape has presented new challenges of course. That “look-book” cover has received controversy because the photos are about nude selfies — all in one, black and white photo. Of course, people have argued that these kinds of photos should remain self-portraits, and Kim did not appear to have had a stylist for the photo shoot.
But to the people who’ve accused her of being hypocritical for being “controversial” for her nude selfies (her naked Selfies), perhaps this photo shoot (and the seemingly orchestrated controversy surrounding it) will show that she can be daring, tasteful and original at the same time. Here’s a snapshot from the shoot:
Finally, Kim ditched her hair extensions for a lighter locks for a double-headed ponytail for her conversation with Ryan Seacrest. But her hair was still long enough to allow her to wear almost all the cleavage possible, which is essential for a magazine cover that features a heavily Photoshopped (albeit, extremely posed) picture of her naked. “I didn’t put a gun to my head and ask for it to be anything other than perfect,” she said to Seacrest, via Us Weekly.
