R&B singer and star of Love & Hip Hop Miami, Keke Palmer, has declared finals. Beginning today, she will share her final thoughts for the entire graduating class of the University of Miami. In an emotional essay, she wrote: “Just know, it’s my last time, so it might as well be my best time. Don’t be late, don’t be stressed or nervous, just enjoy your last days. Don’t overlook all of the things that you will gain from this experience. Finally, have fun. Don’t be afraid to party, don’t be afraid to make memories, but make sure you still remember why you are so inspired to live your best life.”
At the end of Palmer’s homily, she said, “I want everyone graduating to have as much fun as I did, to make memories you will treasure forever. To have as much fun as I had in my four years at Miami. Happy graduation!”
Catherine Reitman, the senior editor of Washington’s Newsweek magazine, will cover the ceremony on her Twitter account. Staffers will also tweet sneak peeks at the ceremony, sharing reactions and quotes from the night’s performers and commencement speakers, as well as photos from the program itself.
